Access your network from anywhere. Easy & Fast. Always.
Keep your hostname updated automatically when your IP changes, from your router, NAS or server.
Check hostnameCheck if you can register a DynDNS on our public domains.
Dynamic DNS (DynDNS) allows you to associate a domain name or hostname with a dynamic IP address. When your IP changes, the service automatically updates the DNS record so you can continue accessing your services using the same name.
You can use our Dynamic DNS service for free with any domain you manage through thingsdns.com from your customer area.
Don't have your own domain? You can also use a free hostname such as yourname.dyn-adsl.com and keep it automatically updated from your router, server, NAS, or other compatible device.
This allows you to easily access web servers, VPNs, cameras, mail servers, and other services using a stable hostname, even when your Internet provider changes your IP address.

We create script (.sh) to check the IP if it has changed and update record A in the domain.

With your API (secret) you update the hostname over HTTP: https://dyndns.cosasdns.com/sync/YOUR_SECRETKEY. A script or a scheduled task every X minutes keeps it up to date.
Usually a few minutes. Our DNS publishes the change almost instantly; total time depends on the TTL and each resolver's cache.
It's not required. You can use a simple script (curl) or any of the Windows, Linux and macOS clients we offer for download.
Yes. You can create several hosts and update them separately, each with its own configuration.
The hostname will keep pointing to the previous IP until you run an update (sync) with your secret.
